On Friday December 15 Santa is scheduled to arrive in the Village Square at 5:00 p.m. courtesy of Ed Duncan’s Classic Hot Rods. He will cruise into the plaza in a red and white ’57 Impala. Top down weather permitting!
The Village Square is decorated with over 25 lighted trees selected from Beerbower’s Tree Farm in Elma. Santa will be greeted by caroling led by youth from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
After Santa makes the rounds in the Village Square shops and restaurants he will settle into the Oyhut Sales office for free photo opportunities from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 pm. Children and adults can fill out or color a wish list while they are waiting for their turn. Bring your own cameras and capture some holiday memories.
Upstairs in the Oyhut Bay Wellness Activity Center, you can enjoy holiday face painting, sand dollar ornament making, and story time courtesy of the Coastal Interpretive Center.
You can roast marshmallows outside of the Rental Office while you listen to the carolers sing fireside.
A holiday pet costume contest at 7:00 p.m. hosted by KOSW-FM in the Village Square. Dress up your special fur baby and strut your stuff in a fun parade through the Village Square.
Enjoy “Spirits with Santa” in the Loft Martini and Wine Bar at 8:00 p.m. to offer some 21+ fun. Drink specials, fun and games. You don’t want to end up on the naughty list and miss this!
