CANCELED: This work has been canceled through Friday due to standing water in the work area. It will be rescheduled for a later date.

Drivers traveling to the ocean before the weekend are advised to plan for extra travel time as utility crews reduce State Route 109 to a single alternating lane to repair a damaged utility cable.

Flaggers will provide traffic control for the one-way alternating traffic near Cedar Lane during the following times:

Wednesday, March 14 and Thursday, March 15

  • 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Friday, March 16

  • 8 a.m. – noon
  • SR 109 will be restored to two lanes after noon to accommodate increased traffic anticipated for the razor clam opening.
