Westport Winery will hold its annual Fleur de Lis Festival on Saturday, June 16 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This celebration of the resort’s 10,000 blooming irises offers activities for all ages including a sculpture unveiling at 5:30 p.m. followed by live music from Six Pack Pretty on the patio from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Grays Harbor and Pacific Counties’ Master Gardeners will host a free plant clinic teaching guests how to dig, divide, and transplant irises, using starts from the winery’s 15-acre display garden.

Local artist and sculpture garden contributor Jeffro Uitto will display and sell his wood carvings during this event. Other vendors include The Jerky Gal, The Fancy Accent Tea Company, Olympic Mountain Ice Cream (with free samples), LuLaRoe, Sassy Seafood and Jill Haney-Neal.

Artist Jill Neal recently completed two new labels for the winery. Neal, known for her Wild (but tasteful) Women drinking wine series, was commissioned to create these labels. The new Duckleberry Grunt vintage will be released at this event with Neal available to sign bottles and posters. The new label for Mermaid Merlot featuring winemaker Dana Roberts’ wife Rikki will be released in 2019. Jill will have her fabulous prints, mugs, and cards available in the winery’s sunroom.

The Olympic Mountain Ice Cream sampling will launch the winery’s designation as the latest location for the creamery’s fans to purchase ice cream to go. They are even creating their own Duckleberry Grunt sorbet!

Lora and Kim Malakoff will unveil their latest sculpture in the winery’s Something Blue Garden at 5:30pm. This new sculpture commemorates the wine True North. Lora has previously installed sculptures for Peaches on the Beaches, Bella, and fittingly, Fleur de Lis. There are over 60 sculptures by local artists in the resort’s gardens.

The band Six Pack Pretty combines soaring vocals, big guitars, a powerhouse rhythm section, and a taste for good times, that brings any event to life! Whether it’s classic rock or modern hits, Six Pack Pretty is guaranteed to have the crowd dancing and singing along! This concert is free to attend, and all ages are welcome.
