Molina Healthcare of Washington announced a long-term agreement with Grays Harbor Community Hospital that will further expand access for Molina’s Washington Apple Health – Integrated Managed Care (IMC) members to include all Grays Harbor Community Hospital providers and services including primary care, obstetrics, specialty care, and all other hospital and clinic services. This agreement will go into effect on January 1, 2020, which coincides with the implementation of the IMC program in the Great Rivers, Salish, and Thurston-Mason Regions. Molina has served these three regions for nearly 20 years and has passed all readiness reviews and network adequacy requirements for the upcoming January 1 IMC implementation.
“We are thrilled that Molina members will have even greater provider and hospital choices in the years to come via our long-term relationship with Grays Harbor Community Hospital, which will provide our members with improved access to community-based services and care,” said Peter Adler, president of Molina Healthcare of Washington. “Not only does this agreement increase the number of providers from which our members can choose, but it also includes value-based incentives for improved health outcomes. This agreement is a reflection of Molina and Grays Harbor Community Hospital’s shared commitment to improving the health and well-being of those we serve.”
The agreement also includes the Clinics of Grays Harbor Community Hospital and Harbor Medical Group (HMG), which include eight multi-specialty clinics located throughout Grays Harbor County. The Clinics and HMG’s services include obstetrics-gynecology (OB/GYN), pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedics, general surgery, and gastroenterology.
