North Beach Singers Spring Concert @ Faith Community Church

The concerts will include pop classic songs from the “Sixties” such as: Aquarius, It’s My Party, Leavin’ On A Jet Plane, Puff the Magic Dragon.

The concert dates are scheduled for Friday and Saturday evenings, May 20 and May 21 at 7:00 p.m.

Another performance will be held Sunday afternoon, May 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel By the Sea, 4612 State Route 109 in Moclips.

Admission is a donation of food or money to the North Beach Food Banks. These are greatly appreciated.

Westport Timberland Library presents Canoe Building in the Chinook Tradition, 6-7 p.m., October 19 for adults and teens. Tony Johnson is Tribal Chair for the Chinook Tribe–and a master canoe builder. He will share the lore and craftsmanship of building a wood canoe following tribal practices with a talk illustrated by slides of canoes he has built. Jeremy Kittel is an American fiddler, violinist, and composer. Fluent in multiple genres, his original music draws from traditional roots, jazz, Celtic, classical, eletronic, and more. He has composed and arranged for artists Jars of Clay, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Silk Road Ensemble. The Trio appeared in “Prairie Home Companion,” in addition to their frequent tours. Adults $15, Seniors $12, $10 Students, 12 & under one free w/paying adult.

The FOSLS LAKE SYLVIA STATE PARK FALL FESTIVAL continues the tradition for our 12th year!
Come join us on SUNDAY, September 10th, 2023 from 8:30 – 4:00 for a day filled with fun and family activities.

If you enjoy running we have trail Races that begin at 8:30 am. From 10 – 4, you can find one of a kind art and hand crafted treasures at the Artisans Market and eat delicious food while enjoying great live music by talented local acts all on the peaceful shores of beautiful Lake Sylvia. There will also be a kayak paddling adventure, a Watershed Festival by the GH Stream Team, Galaxy Harbor Dancers and educational exhibits in the Legacy Pavilion. You can decorate a pumpkin or take a group photo in our photo booth and we will have kids activities as well.

Park for free at Simpson School (519 Simpson Ave W, Montesano WA), and take a free shuttle to the Festival. Parking inside the park is limited and requires a Discover Pass.
