Yup, until he gets Agent Oranged (euphemism for the many combat-related events that veterans have no or limited access to treatment for).

I do love the optimism of youth though!

Or until he is denied re-enlistment due to downsizing. Then he can join many vets who come out unemployed and stay that way for too long.

Dont quit your day job, maybe if you do you can use the other side of your notebook for a "Anything Helps" sign just in case.

The vast majority of US Veterans are employed.

Yes, there are too many who are not, but that can be said about the general population as well.

So are the vast majority non-military, working age, Americans.
