There's nothing stopping Christians from celebrating Christ's birth on the actual anniversary of the day He was born.
There would be nothing wrong with that. But, they don't.
On the other hand, if people want to celebrate God's Incarnation and His birth, what does it matter which day they celebrate it...or if they celebrate both...or neither? It doesn't.
