The reason for the season is the Winter Solstice. The Church, in order to entice pagans into their fold, allowed them to continue celebrating their pagan rituals in order that they would feel more comfortable about becoming theists. Christ is a Leo. BTW, mass is at Walmart this year.

God created the universe, so He's Lord of the Winter Solstice. And what was sold out to Satan, Christ's blood has redeemed, including the Winter Solstice. So...it doesn't matter at all what day is set aside to honor the birth of Christ. All days are His.
