Evangelist Oral Roberts, founder of the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Association and Oral Roberts University, died Tuesday from complications of pneumonia in Newport Beach, California, his spokeswoman said. He was 91.

I guess he couldn't have God hold him for ransom again, so he's done.

Maybe God said, "Time to pay up!"

Dang it, I really was going to write a check, I just got busy...

You know, I've been to Tulsa, Oklahoma. I never saw that 900-foot Jesus. I'm still mad and feel very ripped off...

However, I should have realized I would have seen him from miles away and turned around when I didn't. Live and learn...

Huh? I was there and never saw it either. How could I have missed such a humongous thing? And I usually check out Roadside America for all the quirky things to see (and have even made a few submissions myself). It's almost worth a return trip!
