The sights are used by U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of Iraqi and Afghan soldiers. The maker of the sights, Trijicon, has a $660 million multi-year contract to provide up to 800,000 sights to the Marine Corps, and additional contracts to provide sights to the U.S. Army. $825 each.

Biblical scripture on rifle sites. I suppose if they're selling them to Christian clinic bombers and murderers, it makes some sense, and there is probably still a good market. But, it is disgusting that they would sell them to our military. Disgusting as it is, it should come as no surprise. The smarmy oozing of religion into the military and other facits of government life added to the stench of Bush/Cheney regime.
But, there was an odd smell during fellow SkyGodder, Bill Clinton's years, as well. But, nothing this foul as I recall.

The odd smell from Clinton was from his refusal to change his underwear the last week of the 1992 campaign, heeding the advice of his voodoo houngan, provided of course, by Aristide.

I shower, change my socks and underwear daily.
I like being and smelling clean too much to be superstitious, winning streak or not.

I could never did the underwear thing (I mean 'not washing them' not 'going commando'), but I kept socks and practice jerseys going way too long a few times. We won a lot of games, but not that many significant winning streaks.
