Former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik, who was hailed as a hero alongside former Mayor Rudy Giuliani after the Sept. 11 terror attacks and nearly became chief of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, was sentenced to four years behind bars Thursday for eight felonies.

Not everyone hailed Kerik as a hero.

John Lehman, Republican, former Secretary of the Navy, and 9-11 Commissioner, said the NYPD under Kerik's leadership was "a scandal" and "not worthy of the Boy Scouts."

However, Senators Clinton and Schumer praised Kerik's nomination.

Oh REALLY? You mean you're not going to work some sort of criticism of Barack Obama into it as well?
