I'm with you. I find zealots of all kinds very interesting and often amusing.

Plus, when their sanctimony becomes too much I find it quite satisfying to tell them to take their dogma and stuff it.

Maybe we should give them their own bus....the short bus!

Perhaps we could just provide a rack on existing buses for their "the end is near" signs.

....and a compartment underneath to store all their bullshit!

well, I'm perfectly willing to sit down to discuss almost anything, including one's religious beliefs. But when the person I'm talking to refuses to entertain the possibility that others' beliefs might be just as valid as are theirs, I lose interest in the discussion.

There is a big difference between discussion and sanctimony.
