Verizon for coverage in GH, definitely. That being said, I don't think the same is true for Pacific County. At least in the sense that you are actually not on the Verizon network if you are using your Verizon phone in Raymond, etc. There they are using U.S. Cellular's network, it seems.

Personally, I only use my cell phone casually, mostly for emergency use or quick calls home to see if I need to pick up something I'm forgetting. I ended up switching to a prepaid phone company that let me use my existing Verizon Razr, and that uses Verizon's network. Only pay $30 a month for 1200 minutes and 1200 texts, way more than I need. Same phone, great coverage. I don't really need internet access away from home, at least not my phone. Not yet, anyway.

We made the switch to verizon, and service is definitely better. As for the phone, picked up the Droid Incredible. It really is, well, incredible wink

That is a really sweet phone. It's nice to see HTC branch out from the Windows operating system. For my taste, the only thing lacking is a slide out QWERTY, though my next phone will likely be Android based.

I believe at the end of the year they are coming out with a slide out keyboard, rumor has it at least. To be honest, I always had issues with the onscreen keyboards, always hitting the wrong keys. This one is much easier to use. I definitely won't go back to a non Android based phone.

I currently have a UIQ 3 based Sony P1i, which is a really nice phone, even at three years old, but I beginning to feel the urge for a new phone. Right now I'm leaning toward the LG LU2300/Ally(Verizon)/Aloha or whatever the unlocked variety might be called.

Your HTC phone with a QWERTY would be just about perfect for me. Have fun.

I'm lusting for something Droid. My 'new every 2' is in the Fall so I'll be checking out the Incredible. How about a follow-up review sometime?

I'm so far behind. I have a Razr with no plans to upgrade...

Sure...but I don't think he'll fit in my pocket. He'd be fun to have around the house tough. I don't even care if he whines while cleaning and scrubbing.

Wait until your new every 2 is up. Then buy the cheapest version with the technology you want. It's old by then to everybody else but still new to me. And I've never spent over $50 for a phone. So I'll probably not spring for an Incredible but, by fall, I can probably get something Android. In fact, I may wait until the holidays to see what kind of specials come up then. I can wait. I still really like the phone I have. I just want something with better web-surfing.

Or remain a luddite. smile
