When google decided not to offer the Nexus One for Verizon they recommended this phone.

For Verizon's network, you can buy the Droid Incredible by HTC, a powerful Android phone and similarly feature-packed cousin of the Nexus One.

Phones have really changed in just the last year. I'm really excited for my contract to lapse but it wont be for some time. There are a few phone due out this summer that look really cool.

My contract already came up, and I opted to get a prepaid plan to save more money. I really don't use my phone enough to justify the plan needed for a smart phone.

I'm curious as to how often you're needing to charge the battery in your phone. I've read that the big screen smart phones are voracious consumers of battery power.

I'm a pretty heavy user and use it for email, internet and a variety of other apps. I'm in the routine of throwing it onto the charger each night where I'm normally down to around 30-40%. So, I'm guessing I'd get a day and a half out of it tops with the stock battery.

Will definitely be picking up the larger battery when available.
