I have never seen much of Conan O’Brien, as I've never been one who stays up late enough to watch the various late shows. Additionally, being largely ignorant of popular culture since about 1970, I didn't know that O'Brien wrote for The Simpsons show.

I ran across this 48 plus minute video of O'Brien answering questions from "Googlers" at "Google HQ in Mountain View", CA and have concluded that the guy is brilliant. While watching, it occurred to me that O'Brien is manic in the same sense as is Robin Williams. O'Brien, though, apparently, is more able to handle his mania.

Brilliance and mania, is seems to me, often go hand in hand.
