Yup, bacon rules!

We just picked up our Heritage Meats pig a couple weeks ago and are delighting in the delicious bacon. Yummy goodness!

Of course that begs the question: How big a pig can you press?

Speaking of...does anybody know if Michael's Meats let's you order pig and then preps/cuts it for you? I'd rather buy it more local (Heritage is in Rochester) but our beef gets sent by the guy who raises it to Heritage so we've just done the lazy thing and gotten both at the same place. If not Michael, anyplace else that's in Grays Harbor?

I saw a show on Food Network a while back that highlighted a lady in California that specializes in cupcakes, and makes a bacon pancake type cupcake. Sounds like a good way to start the morning.
