Why would it be funny? In America, an atheist has few options save voting for a proclaimed theist. One has little chance of get of getting elected to national office without the proverbial picture of the familiy in the pew.

There will be no discussion of the heinous and barbarous attack by Israel on the USS Liberty that killed 34 of us. Nor will there be any discussion of Israel's brutal attacks in the Palestinian refugee camps at Sabra and Chatilla, Lebanon in 1982. I could go on but there will be no discussion with an apologist for a branch of the human race that clearly is an evolutionary throw back. Hatred? No hatred here, just a pragmatic calculation about an entity tantamount to cancer. Perform surgery and cut it out.
