Hoquiam police arrested a 46-year-old Hoquiam man Tuesday afternoon for attempting to walk away with a child who had been outside in his own front yard.
Why do you protect these kinds of people and the ones who call in bomb threats to Hoquiam Nursing Homes on Election Day
where the Nurse running against Burns works!
Hoquiam Police are a disgrace and need to do right the residents of Grays Harbor.

When I was at the Hurl, the policy was to print a name when the person had been charged. If no charges were filed, no name was printed.

The Hoquiam Police Department does not tell the Daily World or any other news media what to publish. In this particular case, the matter is in the hands of the Grays Harbor County Prosecutor's Office. The suspect is not on the street at present time, he is in a mental health facility having his competency evaluated. He has not been formally charged, and the County Prosecutor will decide what charges to file.

Your comment about the bomb threat at Pacific Care, Calliope, pretty much identifies you, as you have a personal axe to grind. You, and only you, link the bomb threat to the person who ran against Dan Burns. There was never any evidence whatsoever linking her to the bomb threat. The person who made the bomb threat was charged and admitted what she did.

Possibly because there is a special place in all of our hearts for people who mess with children. Maybe they don't want to be responsible for any harm that may come to the suspect.

Its a small community, and quite a few people have too much time on their hands. Nothing is in season, so what better way to spend an afternoon than getting loaded and beating the hell out of someone suspected of trying to kidnap a child.

the county web site does have a listing of all 'registered' sex offenders and their reported addresses....please remember that these are only the ones that have been caught and convicted (and statistically, by the time one is convicted they have already victimized over 20 children...)

It is better just to keep very close tabs on your children at all times. Most of the time, kids are victimized by family members or family friends. Practice due care and all should be well.
