"Fundamentalist" is meaningless these days. "Fundamentalists" don't agree on what "fundamentalism" means today, and there's no consensus concerning Age of Creation among so called "fundamentalists", either. Old Earth/New Earth beliefs won't save your soul from torment, either on earth now or in your after-the-show show.

At 4.5 billion years, does anyone accept the possibility that there may have been an "advanced civilization" here prior to the current one? Sure its a stretch, but so is the all-seeing eye in the sky....... If you look at the way entire civilizations have nearly disappeared in our known time line, combine that with the way planets get pummeled by inter stellar activity; I feel it's entirely possible. With the number of genetic bottlenecks in our history, I also think it's possible that previous civilizations may have not even been entirely "human" by our definition.
