Just curious to know if anyone else around here has one of the latest game consoles (PS3 or XBox 360)?

A couple of months ago, I was given permission (by my wife) to get a PS3, mostly because it is a Blu-Ray player. Love it. I also love the fact that, once you hook up the PS3 to the Internet (built-in WiFi receiver), you can update the drivers for the PS3/Blu-Ray and keep it updated.

The games? They're great, but still too spendy...

PS3 for me !!

360 cdrom fail rate was too high for me, besides like you said .. Blu-Ray ROCKS! Games are too spendy, but like the updating software and the whole layout is nice.

We haven't played our PS2 for quite a while, but now that we have the new digital t.v. we might try it again. Could be fun. smile

I hesitate to think of the wiring ahead. Why can't it be easy?

If you have a HD widestreen, all you need to do is hook up via the HDMI cable/outlet and set the PS3 to 1080i. Also with Sony, it has a optical audio outlet for your surround sound system.

And voila... Busting caps in high-def... laugh

Ive played a setup like that at a friends house. Next time it comes to upgrading my video cards i think getting a ps3 insteadt its cheaper.
