While driving into Aberdeen this morning my radio was tuned to KBKW and I heard something called comments from the right with Ron Armstrong followed by comments from the left with Gary Murrell. What, to me, was immediately apparent was that Ron Armstrong did a really poor job of speaking, and didn't seem too adept at getting his points across. Gary Murrell, on the other hand, seemed very much at ease and was far better with his presentation. I don't know if this mismatch has been set up on purpose, or if it was just an off day for Armstrong.

Perhaps others have heard these two commentators and have other opinions as to their relative merits.

KBKW used to give another Wrong Winger the "Commentary from the Right" spot. All he ever did was copy the Wrong Wing emails he recieved and read them on the air as if they were his own. After a long time KBKW decided to at least pretend to have some standards and gave him the boot. Ron Armstrong volunteered for the spot. To his credit, he writes his own material or at least cites his sources.

Gary has been doing his spot for a long time and does do a good job in my opinion. Even when I disagree with him, I appreciate his point of view.

The guy before Ron was an empty suit. Ron is a notch above that.
