They may be the most concerned about an institution that fails nearly 50% of the time and is perceived to be so fragile its proponants feel the need to protect it from and discriminate against their friends.
If that was the case then why are college graduates, whom you would expect to be fully informed about these horrible odds, going against that statistic? From the article:
Most college graduates will marry, eventually. Nearly two in three college graduates are married now, compared with less than half who have a high school education.
College graduates are more likely to have jobs. It is pretty difficult to get married while you are forced to live with mom and dad. It is the economy.
