The 20-something demographic shows the steepest marriage rate declines, and this is also the generation that’s less likely to attend church regularly or identify with a specific religious tradition.
My experience with the 20 Somethings shows them to be amongst the more accepting of their peers regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation.
They may be the most concerned about an institution that fails nearly 50% of the time and is perceived to be so fragile its proponants feel the need to protect it from and discriminate against their friends.
Imagine Newt Gingrich protecting the sanctity of marriage.
