We've recently moved to the Seattle area and it looks like Verizon kinda sucks in our neighborhood. We might have to switch to At&t or T-Mobile. I've only glanced at their smartphones but do any of you have either provider and maybe a little advice/opinion/preference on a new smart phone for us?

Right now I'm using a Driod Incredible and I love it. I generally use it for the Google maps, texting, sharing pictures/videos, web searches and sometimes netflix lol.

Virgin mobile sells the motorola triumph. no contract and $35/month for unlimited data.

Downside is the phone is expensive.

Did you look on the internet to see if you can flash the memory on your current phone to accept other providers?

Good suggestion, Lumberjack. Tmobile is great in Lynnwwod. Having moved to GH from Lynnwood it's probably the best option. AT&T is shite for reception in residences up there for some reason or another.

Be safe up there. I had a couple ex-acquaintances put their house up for sale on the 9th and move up that way eek . My wife and kids all did a Happy dance that day. Hopefully you don't run into them.

I haven't checked that yet. Good idea.

Thanks Lumberjack! I'll check it out.

We might get something to boost our cell signal using our internet. We're looking into all options.
