4 more years.
I would rather counteract his further destruction of Americas Foundations then the destruction romney/gengrich(sp) would inflict on America. 2016 is already being planned and America prays a true Conservative will be elected

Is there a chart, graph n' stuff showing that when B.O. took office the average price for a gallon of gas was $1.79 and now when he's asking for 4 more years it's $3.60 a gallon?
Is there a chart, graph n' stuff showing that a 50 cent reduction in the price of a gallon of gas over the course of a year would be a $70 billion stimulus for consumers?
Is there a chart, graph n' stuff of the 25,000 miles of the petroleum pipelines already existing within the Ogallala Aquifer, including the 2,000 or so within the borders of Nebraska?
Is there a chart, graph n' stuff showing the 730,000,000,000 gallons of crude oil transported across the aquifer each year, including the 100,000,000 gallons transported across the Nebraska portion?
Is there a chart, graph n' stuff showing that over 24,000,000,000 barrels of crude oil, including the 500,000,000 in Nebraska, have been produced from 2,000 oil wells drilled through the Ogallala Aquifer over the past 80 years?
Is there a chart, graph n' stuff showing that the average price of a gallon of gas is projected to hit $5 this year?
Is there a chart, graph n' stuff showing that just while B.O. was giving his "best speech" last night, the United States borrowed around another $200,000,000 ?
Just wondering n' stuff...

I'm trying to remember when I paid less than $2 per gallon for gas. I have to go back a lot more than four years. It's more like 9 or 10.

I just read a Consumer News article from January 26th, 2009. They list the national average price of a gallon a gas at a nickel higher than what I posted from a Canadian site, so I'll go with the correction...$1.84. (Which, btw, was down $1.14 from the previous year.) Remember, this is the national average, not Washington State gas price which puts my Midwest visitors into shock.
B.O.'s plan to astronomically raise the price of gallon of gas is, of course, not a shock.

OK, so the rest of the nation finally caught up with us. Obama had nothing to do with the outrageous prices we've been paying since W thought the world was his Stratego board.
Of all the things to try and pin on Obama n' stuff, gas prices seem like one of the weaker arguments.

There's certainly a graph showing that gas cost more under GWB than it does now. Gas was $4.11/gallon in the summer of 2008. And except for a brief spike in September 2008, went down consistently to $1.61 in December 2008. Even the trans canada guys are frustrated with Repubs in congress. They were preparing plans for a better route, but congress demands the old route. That's probably why B.O. needs to think about it until 2013. The fact that it conflicts with your daily Glenn Beck marching orders isn't really my problem. There you go making wild accusations again. I don't watch Beck, listen to Beck, nor read Beck. Never have. Why do you have this extreme penchant for making yourself seem as silly as Beavis?

And except for a brief spike in September 2008, went down consistently to $1.61 in December 2008. ROFL! "went down consistently"?? Did you look at the picture? Gas prices went up almost without interruption the entire 8 years GWB was in office then collapsed by 60% within a month of Obama's election? Here it is again. Even the trans canada guys are frustrated with Repubs in congress. They were preparing plans for a better route, but congress demands the old route. That's probably why B.O. needs to think about it until 2013. Yes, that's exactly why "he needs to think about it". Doing a thorough due diligence is necessary, and it's not going to have any short term effect on gas prices anyway. Even according to the transcanada guys, Republicans are screwing things up.

Of all the things to try and pin on Obama n' stuff, gas prices seem like one of the weaker arguments. In 2008 Obama said that high-er gas prices were fine with him as long if the increase was gradual and the consumer had time to adjust. That really sounds like someone who will work to put policies in place to protect "the people" from taking a huge household budget hit, doesn't it? It's just one ugly piece of the ugly puzzle.
