I'm relieved that you aren't going all Jeremiah Wright on the image thing.

Why would you think a frail pale-skinned depiction of Jesus Christ is the way I believe He appeared?

He looked like most other Galilean Semites of that time. He was tanned and weathered from sun exposure, and He was a carpenter. I married a young carpenter who built homes in the sun. His body certainly did not look pale and frail.

Btw, you know that forensic depiction is not an exact science, right? The depiction you displayed may look exactly the way Jesus appeared, or it may not.

The better question is...what do you think Jesus will look like when He returns?

Indeed, we can only speculate what he might have looked like and end up depicting him homogeneously.

Should the myth turn out to be real, I would say He's going to look really pissed.
