After record breaking rains, booming holiday sales, and a hectic winter season, escape from it all just around the corner at Quinault Beach Resort and Casino’s Moonlight and Moonshine new year celebration.
With specials and activities all week long, Moonlight and Moonshine makes a perfect end of the year staycation. Combination packages start at $399 and include an overnight stay in an ocean side room, party favors, a New Year’s Eve buffet and New Year’s Day brunch for two.
Q-Club Members are eligible for special offers and earn free play throughout the casino. From 1:00 a.m. until 7:00 a.m. January 1, progressive points multipliers mean you can earn from six to sixteen times more points per play. Points are redeemable for game play, resort shops, and even gas for your drive home.
Partygoers are encouraged to “wear your whites, as we will be decked out in the snowy hues cast by moonbeams and decorated with the country style of the legendary bootleggers. It will be a night of fun, food, music, and distilled pleasure!”
Throughout the resort, look for visiting psychics and intuitives from 8:00 p.m. until midnight, caricature artists from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., and music galore. DJ Bobby Valencia will hold court in the Great Hall from 10:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. and the Robbie Walden Band will play in the Ocean Lounge from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.
No New Year’s Eve celebration would be complete without a midnight balloon drop and festive party favors. This is all part of the many fun, free ways to ring in 2016.
With festivities at every turn, on-site restaurants will be open overtime. The official New Year’s Eve buffet runs from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and reservations are strongly encouraged. Dinner includes prime rib, poached lobster tail, Dungeness crab, baked and smoked Quinault salmon, oyster shooters, Cajun roast pork loin, and chicken Marsala, just for starters. Wrap up your meal with chocolate cake with pecan moonshine frosting or a dip in the chocolate fountain.
Smaller appetites can visit the Coffee Bar until 7:00 p.m., Emily’s until 10:00 p.m., or the Sidewalk Bistro until 3:00 a.m. Stay-and-play package guests can enjoy a leisurely brunch at Emily’s before heading home.
