The Aberdeen Rotary Club has announced Madison Hover as the April Student of the Month. Madison is a member of the National Honor Society, FFA and World Class Scholars. She has also participated in Nursery Landscape, Comcast Cares Day, and community/beach cleanups.
Her personal motto is “if you’re not helping, you’re hurting”.
Madison’s future goal to become a doctor has been her motivation to attain a 3.9 GPA. She plans to attend either Central Washington University or the University of Washington followed by medical school after which she hopes to become a practicing pain medicine physician.
Madison recently received a People’s Choice Award, and is graduating a Top Scholar. Her guardians are Terry and Ray Warwick.
Each year the Rotary Club of Aberdeen honors Aberdeen High School Seniors through the Student of the Month recognition and scholarship program. One senior is recognized each month October through May. Two of these eight students are then selected in June for either the $1000 “Blue” or $2000 “Gold” scholarship to the school of their choice.
