If the weather cooperates, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will perform nighttime asphalt repairs on US 101/Simpson Avenue in Hoquiam and US 101/E Heron Street in Aberdeen this week to extend the life of the highway.
The work will occur in the overnight hours when traffic volumes are lower. A single southbound lane at both locations will be closed to travelers while this important preservation work is underway. No lane closures are scheduled at this time for northbound US 101.
