Meet Missy! She is a 65-pound, 10-month-old, labrador/pit bull brindle beauty. Missy falls in love with everyone meets!
Missy is a strong, energetic girl who is going to need training, continued work on leash manners, and patient positive reinforcement teacher as she is not house-trained. It is unknown what kind of life she and her brother RedDog had before a good citizen took them in after they had been abandoned. Missy is looking for a home with a sturdy, active outdoorsy family who have a securely fenced yard. It is unknown how she interacts with other dogs, but she does tend to be very vocal. While in foster care she did not do well with the indoor cat. She is volunteer favorite and adores the kids.
If you have further questions, emails are the only method of communication at this time. We all care about the health of our two-legged caregivers and the community at large, so as a precaution we are temporarily suspending our public open hours. We are still taking email inquiries and applications, and will be in touch with you as soon as we are able. We appreciate everyone’s understanding during this difficult time! Stay Well!
