Are you ready for fall? Well ready or not it’s practically upon us! Our local pumpkin patches are gearing up and growing those lovely orange, yellow and white squashes that have become synonymous with the season. Whether you want carving pumpkins, pie pumpkins or just something cool to sit on the porch or table, check out the Grays Harbor pumpkin patches and support local! Tips for visiting Grays Harbor County pumpkin patches:
- Early in the season will give you the best selection.
- Go in the morning to avoid the crowds.
- Be prepared to walk, so wear comfortable shoes!
- Put cardboard or plastic garbage bags in your car to keep it clean.
- Be ready for any weather – bring sunscreen and an umbrella
- Bring cash! Though some accept cards, it’s good to be prepared.
Chapman Farms
Daily through October 31

Chapman Farms is the pumpkin patch in Grays Harbor! And they have something unique – you can fly your plane right onto the farm! They have a well-maintained grass runway that is approximately 80 feet wide and 1,800 feet long. Message them on Facebook for more information!
They have everything you could want when visiting a Grays Harbor farm in the fall with no admission fee! Corn is available now and pumpkins will be soon! Give yourself the day to explore their corn maze, indoor hay maze, outdoor straw maze, hay rides (on the weekends beginning in October) and more.
In addition to carving pumpkins, Chapman Farms in Grays Harbor has green beans, zucchini, gourds, squash, pie pumpkins, decorative pumpkins of just about every shape/color/size, pickling cucumbers, sunflowers, and select fruits and vegetables will be available daily through October. Once you get your produce fill, check out all the fall decorations for sale in the red barn, including shirts, blankets, signs, coffee, crafts and accessories.

Chapman Farms accepts Visa/Mastercard, WIC/senior checks and EBT snap. Dogs on leash are welcome. Make sure you pick up after your dog and keep an eye on them while visiting the farm. If you do bring your dog, Chapman Farms loves it if you post on social and tag them!
Smith Farm Pumpkins

Just a drive south on the 101 is Smith Farm Pumpkins in Pacific County. This farm offers several types of pumpkins as well as family-friendly activities like face painting, local vendors selling crafts and fall décor, photo opportunities and more.
