Employees of Summit Pacific and members of the community contribute annually to a scholarship fund to promote the education of local students. A scholarship committee reviews applications, interviews and selects recipients who best meet the criteria and show initiative to follow through with their chosen academic program.

The Student Scholarship Fund, first established through the Foundation in 1994, has provided 152 scholarships to students in the Grays Harbor County Public Hospital District No.1. While the scholarship fund was originally started by an anonymous donor, today, Summit employees make up most of the donations to the fund. Community members are also welcome to donate to the fund.
