Straddleline Park

The new Straddleline Park (formerly the Grays Harbor ORV Park) is open for camping, offering 400 acres in McCleary that are perfect for outdoor adventurers!

This McCleary campground features 155 campsites, including 20 sites equipped with power and water for RVs. Amenities include bathrooms with free hot showers, playgrounds for the kids, RV dump stations, covered picnic areas and a dog park!

From the campground, you will find plenty of trails for whatever type of outdoor recreation you prefer! These Grays Harbor trails allow motorbikes, e-bikes, mountain bikes and hiking. Leashed dogs welcome! You can make reservations online.

Friends Landing

For campers wanting a central location with easy highway access, Friends Landing is another great option for camping near the Washington Coast. You are less than an hour from Pacific Coast beaches, both north and south.

This Grays Harbor campground offers 18 RV sites with water and electric hookups, plus 10 tent sites with water access. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the 1.7-mile hiking trail around Lake Quigg, as well as nearby state park trails.

Amenities include free Wi-Fi, bathrooms with showers, a playground, picnic areas, RV dump station, and even a firewood vending machine for classic campfire evenings. There’s a boat launch on Lake Quigg, and fishing is available on both the lake and the Chehalis River. Ideal for RV and tent campers alike, the park offers easy access to Washington’s coastal beaches while providing a peaceful forest setting. Outdoor recreation is abundant, with hiking and biking trails throughout the park.

Decide what amenities you want and if you need pets allowed – even horses! Select your dates and number of people, and then check out the available options. Whether you are looking for flowing rivers, farmland or views of the ocean, there is something for everyone on this site.

For example, Diamond N Ranch in Montesano has two sites for either RVs or tents. On a 40-acre cattle farm, you can enjoy the sounds of the cows as you camp! Reserve both places and have the whole place to yourself (and the owner, of course). This site even has space for horses!
