This calendar is the place to find fun events happening throughout Grays Harbor County including Aberdeen, Hoquiam, Westport, Ocean Shores, Elma, Montesano and beyond.
Join the Aberdeen Stream Team in cleaning up Aberdeen’s urban creek – Alder Creek. Gloves and refreshments will be provided. Plan on bringing long-sleeves and sturdy shoes. You’ll get wet and muddy, but have fun, too!
The event starts at 10 am on Saturday, April 23rd — just after Earth Day! This is a great way to give back to your community and make Aberdeen a cleaner place.
Come watch the dog teams mush down the Beach Trail in Westport. The dog teams will be leaving Westport Light State Park on W. Ocean Ave. at approximately 8:00PM and heading to the Tower located in the Marina. The Tower will be the turn around point for the teams and they will be mushing back to the State Park. You can view the teams at any place along the trail. K9ScootersNW Members will be decorating their dog teams with glow lighting and will be competing for the best lit team.
Gather on Front Street for our yearly umbrella parade. The only day we hope it rains here at the beach! Make sure to decorate your umbrella, there will be prizes given for most creative and fun umbrella designs. The parade will begin at Cottage Rentals and loop around town until ending at The Sweet Life with story-time and treats with a Princess!
Come watch the mushers and dog teams parade through the Westport marina. Parade starts at 1:00pm. The dog teams will be leaving City Parking Lot #3 (next to the Tower) and running down Nyhus St. N. to Lamb Street. The dog teams will then return down Westhaven Drive to City Parking Lot #3. After the parade, come Meet the Mushers in the parking lot. Ask questions, meet and pet the dogs, see the gear.
Dogs and their owners compete in challenging and fun games, show their talents, and have a great time interacting together. It is just as much fun to come and watch as it is to participate.
Dogs and their parents are invited to this festival celebrating the talents and uniqueness of our special loved ones. Games and sporting events and an auction all Fido friendly.
Family friendly street fair with vendors, beer garden, food, entertainment, and more.
