Join us for dinner! This month’s topic is “Managing your Medications” and focuses on how people with chronic health conditions, and/or our aging population, often find their medicine cabinet full of different medications, all of which have different dosing instructions. Managing and tracking the different medications can become confusing, and can lead to dangerous situations if not done properly.
Summit Pacific Medical Center is hosting a day full of activities that lead to healthy connections! We will be featuring a wide range of events that truly offers something for everyone. Enjoy a free massage, get an eye exam and hearing test, get your flu vaccine, collect swag and chat with various other wellness vendors, enter to win a door prize and more!

Don’t take a vacation from donating blood! Summer at Bloodworks Northwest is a tough one as they typically see a sharp downturn in blood donations – 15% fewer people are donating due to holidays, vacations and nicer weather. It is incredibly difficult to generate enough donations during this time of year, yet the need for blood never takes a vacation.

5th Annual Beer Festival on the Washington Coast
benefiting The Seabrook Community Foundation. Craft Brewers, Big Foot, Food, & Live Music. Entry fee includes festival admission, 6 beer tasting tickes, BFBF pint glass. Additional tasting tickets available. Food and other vendors cash/credit.
The course will weave through downtown Elma, past the high school and back through the community, ending on Summit Pacific’s community wellness trail and healing garden.

The Wynoochee River: Come Experience It!
Pack a picnic lunch and hang out at the river with us! Wade in, enjoy a swim, kayak and learn how to safely enjoy the river while also protecting its waters.
Community groups will be on hand to:
• Provide boater and water safety information
• Share knowledge and activities on salmon, water quality and stream flow
• Provide information on ways to get involved with Grays Harbor Stream Team and more!
