Gather on Front Street for our yearly umbrella parade. The only day we hope it rains here at the beach! Make sure to decorate your umbrella, there will be prizes given for most creative and fun umbrella designs. The parade will begin at Cottage Rentals and loop around town until ending at The Sweet Life with story-time and treats with a Princess!
Annual Norwegian Independence Day Parade will begin at Dorothy Anderson Cabin and parade around town. Traditional clothing encouraged!
Parade will end at Meriweather Street with an ice cream social.
Hood To Coast Washington is 77 miles long for running teams and 52 miles long for walking teams.
A chance to show our patriotic spirit. The parade features more than 75 entries and a Grand Marshall. One of the only Flag Day parades in Western Washington.
The 4th Annual Aberdeen Founders’ Day Parade and Events is a full day of fun family time. The parade launches at 11 A.M. with the food and craft vending starting at Noon.
Stay for the street dance at 6 P.M. in the wine and beer garden on Broadway Street.
Along with food and crafts there will be a children’s area for fun.

Four fun days of racing with QMA! QMA is a family oriented sport that involves racing in special prepared cars. The cars, rules and safety procedures are designed specifically for kids. They race on oval tracks approximately 1/20 of a mile. A child who is 5 to 16 years of age can race.

Memorial Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. Parade at 1:00 p.m. Enjoy covered seating and an announcer, located on Third and Main Street at the Elma Visitors Station. Three prizes for parade entries are being offered: Most Patriotic Entry $100; Judges Choice $50; and Most Creative $25. Come to cottage rentals between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. that morning to purchase and decorate a plain white umbrella with fabric pens, and stick on items! $5 per umbrella, limited quantity. You are welcome to bring your own decorating supplies also. Make sure to give yourself enough time to get finished and join in.

The FOSLS LAKE SYLVIA STATE PARK FALL FESTIVAL continues the tradition for our 12th year!
Come join us on SUNDAY, September 10th, 2023 from 8:30 – 4:00 for a day filled with fun and family activities.
If you enjoy running we have trail Races that begin at 8:30 am. From 10 – 4, you can find one of a kind art and hand crafted treasures at the Artisans Market and eat delicious food while enjoying great live music by talented local acts all on the peaceful shores of beautiful Lake Sylvia. There will also be a kayak paddling adventure, a Watershed Festival by the GH Stream Team, Galaxy Harbor Dancers and educational exhibits in the Legacy Pavilion. You can decorate a pumpkin or take a group photo in our photo booth and we will have kids activities as well.
Park for free at Simpson School (519 Simpson Ave W, Montesano WA), and take a free shuttle to the Festival. Parking inside the park is limited and requires a Discover Pass. Bundle up and join the spectacle of the fun and festive holiday parade throughout Seabrook beginning at 6:00 PM on Meriweather Street, from decorated floats to the traditional music! Watch as the holiday magic comes to life with the last snow drop of the season taking place in the Town Center during the parade. Don’t miss the holiday cheer with crooner, Ben Fagerstedt, on the Santa float during the parade.
