Attention kayak, canoe, and rowing enthusiasts. All skill levels are welcome! Human-powered boat activities on the North Park lakes and canals of Ocean Shores. Race, Poker Paddle, picnic, seminars and the latest in paddling gear at end-of-season prices.
BHP, a leading global resources company, will be holding a public open house to inform the community and interested parties about a potential potash export facility at the Port of Grays Harbor’s Terminal 3 in west Hoquiam.

Critically acclaimed and award winning Canadian comedian Mike Delamont brings “God is a Scottish Drag Queen” to the Bishop Center stage! This highly acclaimed night of comedy with everyone’s favorite deity, god, dressed in a floral power suit, comes to skewer everything from Justin Bieber to the pope.
The luncheon will begin with candidates introducing themselves and sharing why they want to run for the office and their qualifications. Public may ask questions of candidates following all introductions. Candidates expected to attend are those running for Grays Harbor County Treasurer, Elma City Council, Grays Harbor Hospital District #1 (Summit Pacific Medical Center), Grays Harbor Fire District #5 and Elma School District #68 Directors.

The agenda will include the formation of a COAD (Community Organized to Assist in Disaster) group for Grays Harbor. We will be inviting members from various groups involved in Housing, volunteer labor, CERT Teams, Faith Based Teams, Red Cross, Salvation Army, Home Depot, translators, Amateur Radio, Pet and livestock assistance to begin in the formation of a one stop contact group for help during disaster events.

A delicious buffet dinner of prime rib with all the fixings and yummy seafood appetizer stations are the perfect added touch to kick off a great night of fun for all. Also, we will be treated to musical performance by local legend, Ericka Corban.
The evening will conclude with a live auction with many desirable items. Not to mention there will also be a blind wine pull, where for only $20 you can get a bottle of wine that has a minimum value of $20 all the way up $100!
