All Kids who are ages 7 to 16 years old (by June 15) are invited to audition for 7th Street Kids’ production of “The Little Mermaid.” No prior experience is required. Kids who audition must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must fill out and sign forms before auditions. Kids will be taught a short song and dance to perform for the directors at auditions. Approximately 50 Kids will be cast for the musical.
Come watch the dog teams mush down the Beach Trail in Westport. The dog teams will be leaving Westport Light State Park on W. Ocean Ave. at approximately 8:00PM and heading to the Tower located in the Marina. The Tower will be the turn around point for the teams and they will be mushing back to the State Park. You can view the teams at any place along the trail. K9ScootersNW Members will be decorating their dog teams with glow lighting and will be competing for the best lit team.

Come watch the mushers and dog teams parade through the Westport marina. Parade starts at 1:00pm. The dog teams will be leaving City Parking Lot #3 (next to the Tower) and running down Nyhus St. N. to Lamb Street. The dog teams will then return down Westhaven Drive to City Parking Lot #3. After the parade, come Meet the Mushers in the parking lot. Ask questions, meet and pet the dogs, see the gear.

“Four Horsemen” reveals the fundamental flaws in the economic system and is sponsored by Grays Harbor Institute.
Each film will be screened backstage at the Bishop Center; seating will be arranged pub-style and movies will be viewed on an enormous screen. The tickets are $10 per film, which includes popcorn and a slice of pizza; beverages will be available for purchase. A discussion among the film-watchers will follow each movie.

Cascades Job Corps College & Career Academy is a tuition-free career training and education program that will connect students with the skills and educational opportunities they need to establish real careers in the high-demand healthcare and information technology industries. Students in the Cascades program receive FREE college education on local campuses, wrap around services, and extensive tutoring, mentoring, and skills development. Students also have the opportunity to earn Microsoft Imagine Academy certifications and industry-recognized credentials in healthcare or information technology via hands-on, practical experience.
