Garage sale to support Coastal Interpretive Center and North Beach VFW Post 8956
Join us for the third annual “Harvest by the Sea”, a benefit dinner honoring Coastal Harvest. The evening starts off with Cocktail Hour at 6:00 pm featuring beer brewed right here in the harbor by Steam Donkey Brewing Company and a wine paring poured by GH Wine Sellars. As you are enjoying a selection of delicious appetizers, entertainment will be provided by Ericka Corban, as seen on “The Voice”. Dinner will be catered by Mill 109 and served at 7:00 pm. The evening will wrap up with a “Desert Auction” where you will have the opportunity to select from a variety of cakes, cupcakes, pies and much more made specially for this event.
The American Lung Association is holding Reach the Beach, an inaugural bike riding fundraiser, on Saturday, September 30. This event has staggered starts in Lacey (100 mile), Olympia (80 mile), Elma (44 mile), Cosmopolis 25 mile) with the finish line in Westport.
The last stop on the ride before the finish is at Westport Winery Garden Resort between 1pm and 4pm. The event closes with dinner on the beach for the anticipated 1000 participants. The race organizers will be selling Westport’s wines by the glass to participants and their guests during dinner.
The cost of the ticket covers entry into a door prize drawing, live entertainment, non-alcoholic drinks, and a large German themed meal. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
All money raised will be used to help our neighbors in the Grays Harbor community. Projects include expanding 1st Presbyterian’s facility into a larger community garden, purchasing hygiene and school items for distribution by local churches and nonprofits, other assistance for families and neighbors in need, and funding Saron’s new monthly after school and free dinner program. 5th Annual Beer Festival on the Washington Coast
benefiting The Seabrook Community Foundation. Craft Brewers, Big Foot, Food, & Live Music. Entry fee includes festival admission, 6 beer tasting tickes, BFBF pint glass. Additional tasting tickets available. Food and other vendors cash/credit.
Paint a Seahawk During the Seahawk/Rams Game. You will walk away with an irreplaceable memory and a masterpiece. No artistic ability is needed – you will be guided through the process step-by-step. We supply everything needed to paint. We advise that you dress for the mess, and bring an apron from home. Seahawks game will be playing, Elks bar open!

Coastal Interpretive Center’s Rayonier: 90 Years of Land Management is a presentation about the 90-year history of Rayonier’s land management and modern forestry practices, presented by Mark Smalley, Engineering Manager, and Dan Stransky, the Senior Timber Marketing Manager for Rayonier’s lands in Oregon and Washington.
All Grays Harbor area nonprofits and school districts that fit within our Giving Priorities are eligible to apply for a small grant. Grants are available for requests of $5,000 and below. Small Grant requests might include small scale technology needs, items for shelters or housing programs, food purchases for feeding programs, educational supplies for early learning or schools, small renovation or improvement projects, capacity building, etc. Organizations that are awarded small grants are still eligible to apply for our twice annual Community Building Grants program. Come and enjoy a favorite local band Six Pack Pretty for an evening of dancing after dinner which will be catered by the Welcome Inn.
We’ll be serving Prime Rib dips and having a dessert auction with lots of delicious sweets to pick from.
GH Wine Sellars will be serving some of their favorite wine and the Beer will be provided by Steam Donkey at our No Host Bar.

Aberdeen Founders’ Day Parade & Festival
Join us for a scenic, fun, charity ride through beautiful Grays Harbor County. You’ll ride through forests, farmlands, over rivers and hills and finish by the spectacular Pacific Ocean.
Our mission for this event is to provide Grays Harbor County an opportunity to get active in a safe and supportive way. This one-day cycling event is the perfect ride with a team or as a personal challenge and is open to ages 16 and up, with three separate lengths for beginners to pros. This is NOT a timed event, so we encourage you to challenge yourself to a distance that makes sense for you and demonstrates your commitment to helping build the healthiest community in the Nation, right here in Grays Harbor.
While fundraising is not required to participate in our ride, we welcome you to support our cause in all the ways you are comfortable. Money raised from fundraising efforts and registration fees go towards supporting Summit Pacific Medical Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit.

You are invited to a Spaghetti Fundraiser Dinner at the First Presbyterian Church of Aberdeen, 420 N Broadway, Aberdeen, WA on Sat, Oct 21, 2023 from 5 – 7 pm. Tickets: $10 per Adult & $7 per Child (under 12). The dinner includes spaghetti, salad, bread & dessert. Gluten free option is available.
