WSU Head Baseball Coach, Don Marbut will be instructing this informative winter hitting camp for ages 11 to 18.
Ages 11-12: 2:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. $100 or $150 includes LL bat and t-shirt.
Ages 13-14 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. $100 or $200 includes Big Barrel bat and t-shirt.
Ages 15-18 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. $100 or $250 includes BBCOR bat and t-shirt.

Come watch the Superbowl with D&R Theatre. This is a family friendly event. Concessions, ice cream, coffee and drinks will be available at the event. Best dressed male and female 12s will win costume competition. The crowd will be the judge. Ask anyone who was there last year, not a better place to see this event!
The event starts at noon with the chance to tailgate in the beautiful decorated event center (for $12) and includes a meal ticket and music. At 3:00 p.m. we’ll head on over to the theater and get ready for the big game. If we can fill the theater with 1,200 12s we have been promised TV time on regional news broadcasts.
Head out to the Seabrook Town Hall to watch the Super Bowl on the big screen with friends!

Registrations for the 2015 Celebrity Golf Tournament are now being accepted. Don’t miss this annual fundraiser for Summit Pacific Medical Foundation. The foundation is collecting both guest registrations and event sponsorships. Over 27 teams participated in 2014, and we are sure that even more will register this year, so make sure to get your registration turned in asap to reserve your spot! Golf registrations include gps carts, access to the driving range and putting greens before play, snacks and beverages throughout the day, fun course games, raffles, signature tee-prizes, BBQ awards dinner and silent auction.
This is an awesome event that you don’t want to miss. All are welcome free of charge to come enjoy some serious aerial action at the beach. Some of the top riders in the world will be in Grayland throwing down some amazing aerial maneuvers. Back flips, barrel rolls, precision surf riding and moto surf racing are just some of what you can expect to see all weekend.
There will be food to feast on. Music will be playing and if you buy a few raffle tickets, you might just get some goodies to take home with you. We will have custom designed event t-shirts and sweatshirts as well as posters available at the main booth while supplies last. Bring your family a lawn chair and a camera and enjoy some free entertainment at the beach.
We ask everyone to respect the beach. All rules governed by the State Parks Dept. are still in effect during the event. Please pack it out if you pack it in. Help us to minimize the impact on the Grayland beach. Avoid soft beach areas with your vehicles as a tow can be very costly. Please park clear of the ribboned off area and leave room for cars to get through.

Water X, in association with the International Jet Sports Boating Association, is proud to announce that rounds one and two of the Northwest Region 3 IJSBA watercraft racing and freestyle championships will be held on April 16 and 17 at Vance Creek Park in Elma. This exciting event will feature some of the fastest jetski racers in the nation. This will be a closed course buoy race on Beautiful Bowers Lake. Racers will compete to earn points for the Northwest Region Championships along with earning their spots to compete in the world finals competition that is held in Lake Havasu Arizona in October of 2016.

Grays Harbor College has received final approval for its third Bachelor of Applied Science degree, this one focused on K-8 Teacher Education. Courses will begin next Fall 2017, and students will be offered two pathways, K-8 Practicum or K-8 with Special Education.
An informational session about the Bachelor of Applied Science – Teacher Education (BAS-TE) degree is planned for Thursday, October 20, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Room 4135 of the Schermer Building.
Westport Timberland Library presents Boom Times to Hard Times: Grays Harbor in the 1930s, 2-3 p.m., October 22 for adults and teens. Grays Harbor during the 1930s – the Great Depression years – was a very different place. Polson Museum’s John Larson will describe and show photos of what life was like in that era. Feel the warmth of the twinkling lights that adorn the outside of the three-story mansion, accompanied by several beautifully decorated Christmas trees and decorations filling every corner of the home. Tours offered December 15, 22 and 29 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Owners Al and Joan Waters welcome guests in Victorian themed costumes to set the stage while leading the tours of the classic manor. The finale to the tour is hot spiced cider and cookies in the formal dining area full of local history.
