Easter is fast approaching and that means it’s time to hunt some eggs! Kids of all ages will have fun looking for brightly colored eggs at these community events. Go ahead and dye some eggs at home, but be sure to head out to these community events to meet the Easter Bunny and create memories that will last much long than the hard-boiled eggs. Here are the 2020 Easter Egg Hunts in Grays Harbor.
Children’s Easter Egg Hunt
April 2, 5:30 p.m.
Olympic Stadium, Hoquiam

The Aberdeen Parks & Recreation Department, Hoquiam Parks & Recreation Department, Aberdeen Lions Club and the Hoqiuam Lions Club are all getting to together to put on one great egg hunt! The hunt is free, but they ask that you bring in a donation of canned food or a used pair of eye glasses. There will be four age groups: 1- to 3-years-old; 4- to 5-years-old; 6- to 7-years-old; and 8- to 12-years-old. Bring your own basket and get ready for some fun! The Easter Bunny will also make a special appearance, so be ready with your cameras to take some photos.
Elma VFW Easter Egg Hunt

The Elma VFW is hosting their 21st annual Easter Egg Hunt at The Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds. There will be handicap access and designated parking. Hunts will be broken into several age groups with great prizes for all. Line up is at 11:30 a.m., hunt begins at 12:00 p.m.
Annual Resurrection Easter Egg Hunt

The McCleary Community Church’s annual Resurrection Easter Egg Hunt is happening on April 11 this year. There will be baskets and prizes of all kids, with three different age group hunts: up to 4-years-old; 5- to 8-years-old; and 9- to 12-years-old. Come hungry, as the Church is serving lunch and it’s also free.

Lake Quinault Lodge Easter Egg Hunt
April 12, 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

If you are looking for something special to do on Easter Sunday, check out the Lake Quinault Lodge. They have a special Easter menu that includes crab cake benedict, bourbon pecan stuffed French toast mascarpone, prime rib, bunny pancakes for the kids 12-and-under and Olympic mountain mouse cake! Their annual Easter egg hunt starts at 10:00 a.m. on the grand lawn with lots of special treats hidden inside and two golden eggs that will have special prizes. Two hunts are for ages under 6-years-old and 6- to 12-years-old. Reservations are recommended by calling 360-288-2900.
