Clara Park is a talented musician performing with the AHS Jazz Band and wind ensemble as well as the Marching and Pep bands. Voted “most talented” by her class, she has played in the pit for several AHS and GHC musicals. Performing as a piano soloist she has won top honors at state competitions and played clarinet two years with the WMEA All State Symphony.
Academically, Clara is graduated as salutatorian with a GPA of 3.99 and graduated as a Running Start student from Grays Harbor College as valedictorian with a 4.0 GPA. She was named to the 2016 All-State Academic Team and Grays Harbor College All-USA Academic Team Representative.
Clara wants to study Biology at Seattle University and attend one of the 30 accredited institutions in the U.S. and Canada for genetic counseling to become a genetic counselor
She is the daughter of Sung Jin and Sung Yeon Park.
Clara will be receiving Aberdeen Rotary’s Gold Scholarship of $2000.00. Congratulations and good luck in your future plans Clara.
