Summer will be here before you know it and now is the time to get your kids enrolled in summer camps so they don’t spend all summer in front of the TV! You can find camps for kids of all ages and interests that get them out the house, help minimize summer learning loss and of course, have a summer full of fun! Here are the 2023 Summer Camps in Grays Harbor and beyond. Register early, as they tend to get full quick!

Camp Juliette

The Scouts of Western Washington is having their annual summer camp August 9-13, 2023. The theme this year is “fantasy.” Camp leaders are all registered Girl Scout volunteers with current background checks. Camps are for girls entering 2nd through 12th grades. Older girls get to decide what types of activities they do during the camp, giving them choices while learning leadership and democracy.

Unique to this camp, girls in the second through sixth grades go through their Program Aides in Training program. And new this year, older girls who do not want to do the leadership track can attend the camp for those entering 8th through 12th grades. Non-Girl Scouts are welcome! For more information and to sign up, visit the Camp Juliette website.

Empowerment4Girls

Empowerment4Girls is having a week-long summer program in Elma called Conscious Minds Conscious Bodies. The program is a comprehensive sexual health education workshop happening August 7-11 and is open to girls and non-binary youth ages 10-15 years. They offer camps for 4th grade through 12th grade, as well as a camp for graduated high school seniors and an adult camp! Learn more and register on the Camp Bethel website.
