Attention paddling, rowing, SUP and water sports enthusiasts. All human-powered water craft are invited to a fun-filled day on the beautiful canals of Ocean Shores Washington.
In addition to the popular Poker Paddle, activities will include 2 or 6-mile human-powered boat races, rubber duck pond and race for the kids, a cardboard boat race, Quinault Paddle Exhibition, speakers, vendors, skills demonstrations and a Music Festival just across the way in our beautiful new grassy Amphitheater. Please join us for an evening of cowboy music and poetry with Kerry Grombacher. Kerry plays contemporary folk and Western songs on the guitar and mandolin. In the spirit of the troubadours of old, he paints vivid portraits with stories set in the landscapes of his life, from his home on New Orleans’ Bayou St. John to the Southwest desert, and up to Montana and the Northwest forests.
Boast Basin Derby begins September 15 and continues through October 31. Must have appropriate license and regulation fishing tackle and methods. No derby ticket required. Weigh in on Float G at Seafood Connection between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
