Meet Zena! She was rescued after having had a mysterious and difficult life, but you should see her now. Zena is a Pit Bull Terrier mix, 3-years-old, 45 pounds of absolute love! She has gained back her cuddle-weight and her beautiful coat is smooth and soft like butter. If you can provide a grain and chicken-free diet, a fenced yard, flea-prevention (she is allergic to flea bites) and plenty of love, then perhaps we should meet and discuss the future! With Zena being mostly deaf, she will need a family who are patient when communicating sign language with her. She is doing very well after learning the hand-signs for “hello”, “sit”, “lay down”, “come”, and “good girl”. Zena is so ready to be treasured in her forever and loving home, and she promises to give much love in return!

If you have further questions or would like to schedule an appointment to meet Zena in person, please contact the adoption team at Shelton Adopt-a-Pet. Emails are the preferred method of communication.
