2016 will herald the 13th year of the Galway Bay’s Celtic Music Feis; celebrating Irish, Scottish, and Celtic Music. From sessions to rock and everything in-between we have over 100 musicians who are a part of over 35 bands flooding Ocean Shores, WA with music, workshops and FUN for six days this October.
The Festival begins the evening of Tuesday, October 18, 2016 and lasts until Sunday, October 23, 2016. An eclectic mix of Irish bands, choirs and dancers hailing from throughout the United States, Canada and, of course, Ireland will be rounding out this year’s entertainment.
In addition to our own Celtic Imports Gift Shop we have an array of Celtic vendors in our vendor village inside the convention center.
There are a limited number of VIP tickets available so buying early is important for those of us who don’t want to miss the festivities at Galway Bay.

Oakville Timberland Library presents Spooky Art, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m., October 22 for children. Young artists wanted at the library to create spooky crafts and checkout hair-raising books. Costumes are welcome, but not required. For more information call 360-273-5305.
Hoquiam Timberland Library presents Dinosaurs vs. Pirates, 2:30-4 p.m., October 22 for children. In an epic event for the ages, we will celebrate the love of both dinosaurs and pirates with crafts, games, and snacks! For more information call 360-532-1710.

The Elma Chamber of Commerce, along with Elma Businesses invite families to the 18th annual Elma Downtown Trick or Treat on Monday, October 31st. Bring your trick or treaters from 3:00 – 6:00 PM to the Elma Chamber and participating businesses. Enjoy a wagon ride on the Elma Feed Store shuttle, which will be loading and unloading at the Elma Chamber.

The Harvest Fair Carnival at the Elma Middle School will be on Monday, October 31, sponsored by the Churches of Elma. The Harvest Fair Carnival is from 5:00 – 7:30 PM and all the “FUN” is free!
Get creative! Drop by the library to make a holiday craft as part of the monthly First Friday event in downtown Aberdeen. All supplies provided.

Come join us for a concert of holiday songs including many old-fashioned carols and some new ones.

Shaver Marionettes will present a winter puppet play about an elderly shoemaker, an impishly magical elf, a devoted daughter with baking issues, and a Queen who collects shoes!
Walk into a winter wonderland at the library with a wintry mix of crafts, games, and snacks!

A little further up the North Beach is a family friendly event from the creative folks at Seabrook WA. Seabrook Town Hall hosts the jolliest breakfast on the North Beach. Please plan to pay at the door. You can stay a bit and write a letter to Santa, get your family photo with Santa and paint a keepsake ornament.
Montesano United Church will be performing their Cantata on December 11 at 7 pm at the church at 401 East Spruce. The Cantata is the final event of the annual Festival of Lights.

Celebrate the coming of the new year a day early with snacks, games, art projects, and a movie. All supplies and snacks provided.
Fresh off of their first European Tour, catch Portland’s Fox and Bones live at Seabrook Town Hall.
Fox and Bones is a conceptual folk collaboration between American songwriters Sarah Vitort and Scott Gilmore based in Portland, Oregon. Both artists in their own rite (Sarah Wild and The Watch, Just People), the pair had an instant spark when they met, which quickly translated to an electric songwriting chemistry. The duo combines lush two part harmonies and a complex, heartwarming lyrical landscape with soft-spoken yet rich musical accompaniment. Live, they draw their audience in with their quirky banter and adorable onstage chemistry, creating – and inspiring in their fans – an archetype for true love in the modern world.
The Town Hall bar will be open for those over 21, all ages welcome, doors will open at 6:30PM.
