Sheriff Rick Scott and Grays Harbor County Emergency Management will offer the Grays Harbor County Elected Official & Senior Executive Disaster Workshop.
It is imperative that ALL Elected Government Officials, Cities, Local Response Agencies, Fire Districts, the Port of Grays Harbor, PUD, Grays Harbor Transit, Grays Harbor Businesses, Local Volunteer Organizations and the School Districts make every effort to attend this meeting. Representatives from Washington State Emergency Management Division, FEMA, The National Guard, from the Region 3 Incident Management Team and Grays Harbor County Emergency Management will be speaking about the processes of disaster response and mitigation, what types of assistance is available to all in our county and major positive changes to a catastrophic disaster response to our region.
The information will be extremely insightful and helpful to all who attend.
Coffee and Danish will be available in the morning and lunch will be served in the afternoon.
If you will be attending, please RSVP Grays Harbor County Emergency Management at ghcdem@co.grays-harbor.wa.us. This is to insure that space is available for all who wish to attend.

Come watch the Superbowl with D&R Theatre. This is a family friendly event. Concessions, ice cream, coffee and drinks will be available at the event. Best dressed male and female 12s will win costume competition. The crowd will be the judge. Ask anyone who was there last year, not a better place to see this event!
The event starts at noon with the chance to tailgate in the beautiful decorated event center (for $12) and includes a meal ticket and music. At 3:00 p.m. we’ll head on over to the theater and get ready for the big game. If we can fill the theater with 1,200 12s we have been promised TV time on regional news broadcasts.
The Washington coastal premiere of Ocean Frontiers II: A New England Story for Sustaining the Sea brings audiences face-to-face with those now embarking on the nation’s first multi-state ocean plan. The film prominently features Rhode Island and is an inspiring story of citizens coming together to promote healthier economies and healthier seas across New England.
After the free public screening, join Washington Sea Grant and other sponsors for a discussion about Washington’s marine water management activities.
