Our Salon Readings feature local authors and poets reading short passages from their work. The public is welcome to listen. Books may be available for purchase and signing.
Saturday, October 1st we’ll be offering our first quarterly Salon Reading. Local writers are joined by readers and those who love story.
Our featured reader is poet Dwight Johnson.
The event begins at 7 p.m., should last an hour to an hour and a half, is free and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Writers are welcome to come by and read from their work. While there is no need to sign up in advance it is recommended to assure a spot.

Come out to Rokfest 6, the annual music event to raise funds for the South Pacific County Humane Society! Local Harbor favorite band Six Pack Pretty will play 80’s cover tunes, with Woodland,WA-based band Stiffler opening. All proceeds go to help animals in need! Admission is free, with donations accepted.
Fantastic prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening, all for a great cause.

Jeremy Kittel is an American fiddler, violinist, and composer. Fluent in multiple genres, his original music draws from traditional roots, jazz, Celtic, classical, eletronic, and more. He has composed and arranged for artists Jars of Clay, Yo-Yo Ma, and the Silk Road Ensemble. The Trio appeared in “Prairie Home Companion,” in addition to their frequent tours. The Aberdeen Lions Club presents its 12th annual Toast the Harbor Food and Wine Festival.

Montesano United Church will be performing their Cantata on December 11 at 7 pm at the church at 401 East Spruce. The Cantata is the final event of the annual Festival of Lights.
