Life After Lightning: Local Author Talks about Her Near Death Experience @ McCLeary Timberland Library | McCleary | Washington | United States

Lewis County native Beth Peterson will talk about her new book,“Life After Lightning,” at the McCleary, Elma and Aberdeen Timberland Libraries this August.

The book chronicles Peterson’s near-death experiences, having been twice struck by lightning. The result has been extensive physical and emotional damage, multiple surgeries and a lengthy recovery.

In her book and her public talks, Peterson reveals how she persevered through the pain, grief and loss. She encourages people to live in balance with others and offers insights on topics such as family, spiritual recovery and discovering one’s true direction in life.
