Auditions certain roles for the Bishop Center’s Spring production of Billy Elliot. We are auditioning the roles of:
– the Dance teacher
– Mr. Braithwaite (dance teacher’s assistant)
– All ballet dancers (ages 7-17)
Ballet girls should come in tights and leotards. No baggy clothing please! Bring tap shoes to the audition for Dance teacher, Mr. Braithwaite and ballet girls.

The course will weave through downtown Elma, past the high school and back through the community, ending on Summit Pacific’s community wellness trail and healing garden.

Watch the professionals carve and compete for prizes. Judge people’s choice awards. Join in the family carving competition. Little kids can paint pumpkins. Fun for the whole family.

The Peak Health Wellness Fair will host more than 30 vendors who will be providing free information, giveaways and health screenings such as vision, hearing, blood pressure and glucose testing. Thanks in part to Summit Pacific Medical Foundation, children will have access to free bike helmets (while supplies last), important safety lessons at the bike rodeo hosted by Elma High School and have an opportunity to tour vehicles such as an ambulance and fire truck. Some other crowd favorite activities are the massage and reflexology booths!

National award-winning storyteller Christopher Leebrick presents a cultural mix of fun and spooky tales from around the world as well as from his award-winning CD’s. Great for the Fall!
Recommended for ages 6 and up.
Free activities include a spooky scavenger hunt, Halloween crafts, late night ghost hunt, and a local haunted house. Other activities include bewitched bowling Friday and Saturday and adult karaoke in the bar on Saturday night.
